September 7 Fondue Fest

With an annual attendance of more than 20,000 people, Fondue Fest comes in as the largest event in downtown Fond du Lac WI. Three stages with all genres of music, a huge Kids Zone, art and craft vendors, Farmers Market vendors, cheese and chocolate fondue, and more add to the excitement of the day.

Fondue Fest History

The downtown Fall Festival began in 2000, when downtown merchants wanted to celebrate the reopening of Main Street following a lengthy construction project. Shops put sales on the street, and other vendors were invited. Since then, the festival has grown exponentially in every aspect: participation, attractions and attendance.

In 2007 the festival was given a new name – Fond du Lac Fondue Fest – and it attracted more than 15,000 attendees. The centerpiece for the festival became the World’s Largest Fondue Set, which was created by an engineering and fabrication team from Brenner Tank. The “World’s Largest” name was conferred by the Guinness Book of World Records, and presented to the Downtown Fond du LacPartnership. This re-styled event attracted visitors and vendors from throughout the Midwest, and was covered by media outlets from throughout Wisconsin and the Chicago Sun-Times. The festival was even covered nationally by CNN. Blogs and other Internet media sources provided additional buzz. The event was a great success, and raised more than $3,000 for the Fond du Lac AC Agribusiness Council.

This year the festival will have a number of different palate-pleasing fondues, prepared and presented by students of the Culinary Arts Program at Moraine Park Technical College and the Fond du Lac Optimists’ Club. Other favorite events will return, including the Kids’ Zone, music stages, plus great food and great fun!

Fondue Fest gives the downtown the opportunity to show their endurance, the strength of their friendships and a chance to celebrate community in the downtown.

September 2 Saint Germain Flea Market

St. Germain Firefighters Association holds one of the midwest’s largest flea markets. It is held every Monday from Memorial Day through Labor Day at the town pavilion located behind St. Germain Fire Department. Vendors come from around the midwest with a mix of crafts, art, and treasure alike. Open rain or shine. 8am to 3pm.

The St. Germain Flea Market is located at the intersection of Highway 155 and Highway 70 in St. Germain WI, behind the fire station.

Magnet Rocks will be continuing our 2019 Heal the Country Coast to Coast Tour here in the State of Wisconsin through the middle of September.

Tomorrow Thursday August 21st in Pulaski WI at the Pulaski Street Market. This will be the only show in the Green Bay area this year.

This Market is held on Thursday nights from 3-7 pm at Mountain Bay Plaza.

September 11 – 15 Tomahawk Fall Ride

Bubba’s Big Party

This is the 38th anniversary for the Tomahawk Fall Ride and MDA fundraiser. This cycle rally will be taking place in Tomahawk, WI September 9-15, 2019 Bubba’s Big Party is a music and vending festival located at the beautiful Nokomis Town Park and adjoining campground, 2675 County L, Tomahawk, WI.

A great time to be in the great state of Wisconsin. Now I find myself in the middle of August. Summer is in full bloom here in the Dairy State. I am moving a round talking to as many people about the healing properties of Magnets as possible. People are so much more knowledgeable about Magnetic Jewelry than they were 7 years ago.

I am getting so many more people in front of me that know the FDA approved Electra Magnetic Therapy for Migraine Headaches on Dec. 23, 2013 than I used to. Many more people know of individuals that wear Magnetic Jewelry than 7 years ago also. It’s working, the word is getting out.

I had such a Great time in the Black Hills of SD meeting new interesting people. I do love it when I go into an area and when I leave I receive orders from the surrounding areas after I leave. This means after people buy my Jewelry they tell there friends after they have the affects of wearing a portable magnetic field. I find this so fulfilling knowing I get to positively effect individuals I will never meet. I Love That Part!!

I will be doing shows around the Wisconsin for the next month or so before moving on. One of the Greatest parts of my life is not knowing what or were I will be going next. That being said I will be in Saint Germain on Monday September 2 and Tomahawk September 11-15 at Bubba’s Big Party. Other than that I will let the wind blow me in the direction it would like me to go until then.
