243 Years Has Taught Us What?

Independence – Freedom?

As the 4th of July 2019 presents itself I ask myself an apparently simple question. What does this date means to me? What does the idea of Independence Day and Freedom really mean? At least to me personally, in my own world.

Just sitting back and thinking about it for a moment. I live in a country that is so blessed the poor have cell phones. There are more first generation millionaires in this country than anywhere else on the planet. Many in this country surviving on food stamps are obese. Poor from other locations on this planet loose their lives and lives of their children just trying to get to this country. A country I was blessed to be born in. I had no part in the location of the planet my Mother birthed me. I’m letting that sink in for a moment.

Talk about Blessed!

How did it end up this way? It’s not like this everywhere on the planet. Almost nowhere in fact! This didn’t just happen by accident. There is an Under Lying Truth that runs through all that live here. It’s By Choice! REMEMBER THAT!

I live here because I choose to. Millions walked in through our border to the south, I can walk out if I so chose to. Just like everyone can say, no different, we are here because this is our home. My Grandfather was born in Poland. All of us are from somewhere else if we go back far enough. Our species didn’t start on this continent.

So what has 243 Years taught us?

As I am enjoying this National Holiday that Truly Represents Every Individual that somehow finds themselves in this country, I am going to keep this in mind. Every Blood Line in this county came from somewhere else. Every Blood Line left family behind to come to this Country. They all came to do the SAME THING, to have a BETTER LIFE for there Blood Line. That’s what my Blood Line did. I’m sure yours did to.

So historically speaking all of our Blood Lines arrived here to do the same thing. To have the best possible, happiest possible, healthiest possible, and as long a life as possible for their Blood Line.

Talk about Blessed!

So that is what Independence Day and Freedom means to M.E.

Happy Independence Day Everyone!!
